Word 2007 Tutorial 18 – Making A Simple Poster
The basketball team has taken the state title. I wish to make a poster to illustrate that hard work and teamwork has made us #1. I can make a simple poster with the team picture to illustrate this concept to the whole student body. Posters can be printed cheaper than buying posters from the store. If the printer does not support tabloid size paper or poster board, the file can be converted to PDF and sent to a local print shop to be printed. I called a local print shop and found that they can print a poster on tabloid size poster board for less than $2 USD. Teachers can use this concept to make their own posters to decorate and display positive or educational messages in the classroom.

Anorexia Story Through Pictures
A slideshow of me and the stages of my eating disorder. I cannot believe that I was so underweight and thought i was way over the normal.

If anyone ever needs support in his or her recovery or just wants to rant about anything in the eating disorder world, I’m always up for talking, and I will respond within a day if you leave me a message. : ) I check my e-mail frequently, so I always know when I have a youtube message/comment/etc. Some people left stupid comments, and I think you should be doing more productive things than searching eating disorder videos just to tell the sufferer that he or she is fat.
If anyone has any questions concerning my eating disorder and treatment, for I obviously couldn’t include my entire life in a few minute that was mostly based on pictures, feel free to ask anything. Even if you are fairly unacquainted with eating disorders and have any clarifications on terms (I find the internet to be a usually invalid source when it comes to this subject), feel free to ask.

Sketcher: Program draws pictures
This is a computer program I made that attempts to imitate the way an artist would draw an image with a pencil.
description for the mathematically inclined:
The program simply follows the perpendicular of the first order approximation of the image gradient of the pixel intensities. Every path containing a high number of high intensity gradients is stored as a stroke. These strokes are ranked in order of “goodness”, that is a function of both the length and intensity of that stroke. The pencil then shades these strokes in around the image, starting with the strong strokes, and going towards the light strokes at the end. Strokes that are close to each other are likely to be drawn consecutively for more pleasing visual effect.
