Hi, I would like to make a large picture (poster) from a small one right in my home so it would be a standard cannon printer where you take a regular photo and then it divides it into six or eight squares full size sheets of paper, which you can then tape together and you have a poster. It doesn’t have to be a high quality poster, since I’m simply going to use it like a stencil for a craft project.
You might try gimp.org. It’s a free, downloadable photo editor and it’s pretty powerful. Then manually create the 6 sections and enlarge to 8 1/2 X 11. Because the resolution will be lost, it won’t look very good, but should work for your project.
