What are the drawbacks or challenges of using picture book in class?
please tell me your opinions, thank you.
The drawback quite frankly are only those that you make drawbacks. In such scenarios, ‘ use what you have. ‘
Thus, not to be improvisational is the only true drawback unless of course someone, say, an advisor or teacher, tells you outright that using a pictorial is not suggested.
If you use it right, you can shine — just be animated in your presentation. Don’t dare be monotone in voice. Let your body move around and about, using your hands to speak along with you. Let your speech be as colorful as the pictorial, and especially if the pictorial is not in itself as colorful as you would prefer it to be but which of itself imports benefits to the audience or observers.
literary content may be left to viewer discretion and therefore, interpreted differently by "students". also, some individuals do not learn visually or verbally but by content of text and may miss out on the subject of discussion.

to me the biggest drawback is that the student misses out on the real meaning of the auther. And in a class room you want the student to beable to understand what the author means . The pictures means many things to everyone.

A disadvantage is that you cannot make your own imagination of what’s happening in the story (or something else you are reading), that is because you already have a picture of what’s going on in front of you.
An advantage is that you are able to have a better understanding of what exactly is going on from the writer’s perspective.
Hope I helped!

Pictures are seen with your eyes using little imagination. Words put a picture in your mind. Kind of like the difference between TV and a book.
