Other Wybie and everybody else in the Other World was created by the Beldam. They’re all made of sandbags, button eyes, homemade clothing, thread hair, and makeup for facial effects.
When Other Wybie frowned at the Other Mother because of her plans, she got angry at him. She didn’t want Coraline to find out what was going on, and feared that Other Wybie would rat her out. So she totally disassembled Other Wybie and hung his clothes on the flagpost.
